Events

Arkansas' South will hold its 2013-2014 Annual Meeting on May 13, 2014, from 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in room #114 of the Tech Engineering Building on the SAU Tech Campus in Highland Industrial Park, East Camden, Arkansas.  This meeting is open to all Arkansas' South members and the public. Please click on the Contact Us link above to request more information about the meeting and its location.

The Arkansas' South is recognized for many distinctive characteristics, but maybe nothing in this region is as well known as its world famous events and festivals.

Only in the Arkansas' South can you find racing armadillos and high-diving pigs; experience turkey calling, hunting-horn blowing and tomato eating contests; savor the flavors of World Championship Steak and National Chili cook-offs; and even witness a notorious downtown gunfight and civil war reenactments.

From spring fairs to summer carnivals, fall festivals to winter holiday celebrations, no matter what time of year you visit the Arkansas' South, you're sure to discover events and festivals you'll never forget and will want to come back to year after year.
